Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actress. She has also produced films like Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. Her childhood was lived living in Los Angeles where she came from a middle-class family. Her mother was a film lover and urged her to enjoy films as a child. Paula was a fan of school co-curriculars and drama was her favorite. She loved to play act with her friends and participated in her school's stage productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School offered her numerous opportunities to be an actor during her high school years and she chose acting for a profession. It was an enjoyable summer at University of Southern California. The program offered her a three-month contract to produce documentaries on PBS. When she finished her three-month task successfully the first task was working in the production department for television documentaries. The next thing she did was begin producing documentaries. Although she was awed by her job, she still wanted to become an actor. She began her journey into acting when she appeared as Will Smith's co-star for the romantic comedy Hitch. Since then, she has been in a variety of popular films as well as TV programs.
